First time to hack my toy

Hi there!

Welcome to my electronics blog. I used to be afraid of electronics because there are several small accidents happened while my dad doing his electronics works (actually it is just a very small 'bob'). I am also not as braved as CHAN Yik Hei (the genius inventor) to hack all the electronic appliances on his own at a very small age. So, I often say I quite dislike doing installation arts as it is very troublesome to design and present properly, aware of the interaction between audience and I need to solder the wires (to me, it is a waste of time! XD).

Although this course is a kind of challenge and I feel worried, I still will try my best to do my electronics artwork. I should tell myself it is unavoidable. You will overcome this one day.

This lesson we need to hack our toy! I can tell it is my first time of doing that. Guess which one I have chosen to hack:
Sure NOT the radio! It is the white stuff - the sound device inside one of my favourite dolls in my childhood Po from the Teletubbies. I attach a potentiometer where the IC locates so that we could change the frequency of the original sound.
Let's listen to the sound after changing the position of potentiometer. It is not quite successful as it is always out of order when I turn the potentiometer.
